Working to preserve endangered species through public awareness & education!

Our Animal Preserve is more than an education facility. It is a home to more 130 animals. We care for Big Cats, small exotic, domestic and farm animals.

Established in May 2001. Receiving our Non-Profit 501 (C)(3) status January 18, 2002. We strive to increase public awarenessof the steady decline in certain species & exotic and endangered animals.

Kowiachobee Animal Preserve is licensed by:
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and  U.S.D.A“Respecting All Animals” is the key to their survival.  The time is now to open ourselves to this awareness.  If we do not do this now, our grandchildren may never have the opportunity to see these animals other than in a text book.  At KAP we are all volunteers.  We have been working with exotic animals for many years.  Our board consists of four directors who are highly motivated and dedicated to our cause.  We have a variety of volunteers who help us on a daily basis to make everything happen for Kowiachobee and YOU!
